Greg graduated with a B.A. from Dickinson College and earned a Masters in Public and International Affairs from the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. Greg is a financial and business professional with 20 years of experience in diverse business situations. He is skilled at providing business viability assessments, strategic planning, financial modeling, and cash flow management. His experience includes providing business valuations services for a variety of Fortune 1000 and private equity clients for such purposes as merger and acquisitions, purchase price allocations, analysis of goodwill impairment, transaction support and corporate governance for one of the Big 4 accounting firms. Previously, Greg worked for a turnaround management firm in Pittsburgh, where he provided interim-management of troubled businesses and mergers and acquisitions services for client businesses and in the start-up business arena, where his work included financial modeling, cash flow management, business strategy development and business plan creation. He is currently a director with Mt. Royal Capital Partners in Pittsburgh, PA.
Garry qualified with a degree in textile design and management and has over 30 years experience in Textiles gaining a wide range of experience in many areas of business. Early career in UK manufacturing developed into ten years Operations and Supply Chain Director posts, managing large manufacturing networks in China, India, Bangladesh, Turkey and Morocco. He has a full understanding of Commercial business requirements having led Sales and Design teams operating with key mainstream/high street retailers. His most recent positions held in Retail include spending six years with Marks and Spencer plc. as Group Sourcing Head. He is currently Group Sourcing Director for Primark, a subsidiary of Associated British Foods.
Ashleen graduated with a 1st Class Honours(summa cum laude) in Accounting and Finance from Queen's University Belfast. She is currently a Director in KPMG’s NI based Corporate Finance team and specialises in leading financial and commercial advisory to both private sector bid consortia and procuring authorities on major infrastructure projects. Over the last decade, Ashleen has advised on many of Northern Ireland’s largest infrastructure projects successfully funded through the use of private finance. Recently she has assisted the University of Ulster secure a debt financing package to assist deliver its £250m new Belfast Campus, due to open in 2018. Ashleen has also been involved in equity fund- raising for start-up and high growth companies. Ashleen is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and also a member of the Institute of Directors Northern Ireland Committee.
Having graduated with an MSc in Electronic Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast in 1986, John Convery went on to co-found BIC Systems and with a focus on sales and marketing, was a driving force behind the company which grew to employ some 200 staff on a turnover of £30m and was the largest indigenous IT Services company in Northern Ireland. Following the acquisition of BIC Systems by British Telecom (BT) plc, John was Head of Public Sector sales for BT in Northern Ireland. He is currently a Director of Synetecs, a Belfast based investment company, and of Macildowie, specialist recruiter based in the English Midlands. He recently completed a 3 year period as a Non-Executive Director at Novosco, a local fast growing IT services company. John is a Fellow of the Sales Institute of Ireland and has extensive experience in PR, marketing and branding.
Terence Brannigan is currently the Executive Chairman of Connected Health Limited, a recently formed company with a unique service delivery platform for the operation of Domiciliary Care, TeleCare, TeleHealth and Mental Wellbeing services across the UK & Ireland. Terence was the original founder of resource™, Northern Ireland’s largest private sector employer. With over 15,000 staff and more than 2,000 customers, resource delivers a range of support services to blue-chip clients across the whole of the UK and Ireland. Within three years of creating the company, through a Management Buy-In, Terence had established resource Group as the fifth largest and the fastest growing company in it’s sector within the UK and Ireland. Prior to this, Terence held a number of senior executive positions during a career with Compass Group; including Group Sales & Marketing Director and Divisional Managing Director. He then served as Chief Executive of the newly-established Defence Division, which evolved into the $1.7Bn Compass Global Division. This specialist Division had responsibility for both global acquisitions and organic development of remote site and defence services businesses across 48 countries.
